The Austrian Academy of Sciences Press was founded in 1973 in order to publish latest achievements of scientific research in high-standard editions, to promote them in Austria and abroad and, thus, to offer an appropriate forum of scientific publication.
Scientists from some 22 countries have up to now written for scientists as well as for the increasing group of an interested public. A top-class board of scientific advisers guarantees the excellency of these publications.
