International Workshop on Exotic Atoms
- Future Perspectives -

hosted by the Institute for Medium Energy Physics
of the Austrian Academy of Sciences

Scientific program:
The scientific sessions will consist of plenary talks only, each talk about 20-25 minutes, allowing for subsequent discussion of the related problems.

Subjects to be discussed:

muon physics:
transfer processes
µCF - from atomic to nuclear physics
muon capture - weak interaction

pion physics:
pionic atoms - strong interaction
deeply bound pionic states

kaon physics:
kaonic atoms - strong interaction
kaon mass
nuclear kaonic states

antiproton physics:
antiprotonic helium
anti-hydrogen

theory:
low energy QCD - ChPT, hadronic systems
QED related to exotic atoms
cascade processes

New machine and detector developments
